The traditional centre of the town is marked by the Old Pond fountain. To the west lies the historic conservation area of Churchgate which includes St. Mary’s Church, Whit Hern Park and the 16th century Green Dragon Inn.

Cheshunt is well served by its wide variety of local restaurants and bars and many High Street retail outlets. Laura Trott Leisure Centre is in the heart of the town and provides swimming, squash, badminton and table tennis together with a gym and exercise classes.

Cheshunt is well served by the M25 which marks the Borough of Broxbourne’s southern boundary, and by the A10 trunk road which runs north to south and provides direct access to Cambridge and London. National Express railway operates regular services to London Liverpool Street from Cheshunt and Waltham Cross Stations. To the north the railway provides direct access to Cambridge and Stansted Airport.
